1990 Anastasio D Hole:
14 frets to body, laminated rosewood back and sides.

I acquired this guitar from Jacques Mazzoleni at the Classic American Guitar Show in Philadelphia in the summer of 1999. It sounds just like the Anastasio that Angelo Debarre plays on his recordings, with that clear, bright high end. The stamped impression in the wood of the head did not come out very well, being unreadable. The tuners and tailpiece are generic and low cost, but the instrument sounds great. Except for the imperfect stamp, it is a beautiful guitar to look at, with its rich, dark top, although it is not in a league with the Favino or DuPont as far as workmanship is concerned.

I have actually sold this guitar, but it’s so pretty that I wanted to keep the memories around.
