1994 Dupont MD20:
oval sound hole, 14 frets to the body.
This instrument has a spruce top, maple back and sides, a rather thin, non-traditional neck, and a McIntyre pickup that I had installed later. It was the first manouche-styled guitar that I’d so much as held in my hands to that point. This guitar apparently belonged to and was built for gypsy whiz Raphael Fays, according to
Paul Hostetter and Maurice DuPont himself. After a refret and a series of bridge refits, this instrument is fabulous.
